Hello! My name is Sue Pietrie. I teach 3^rd grade. This will be my (drum roll…..) 26^th year at St. Rita and 36 years total teaching. I received my Bachelors in Education from Northern Illinois University, with endorsements in Reading and Music.  I have taught 2^nd up through 5^th grade. I find it both challenging and rewarding to teach, ensuring students are prepared for their future while having positive experiences in the process. 
My husband, Joe, and I  live in Aurora. We have one daughter, Beverly, who will be getting married in October. I enjoy playing euphonium and trombone in local community bands. (A euphonium looks like a small tuba). I also collect Disney Trading pins. 
I feel grateful and blessed to be a part of the St. Rita of Cascia School community.
