Students use hands-on learning in science class using microscopes.
The Catholic faith is at the center of our school day at St. Rita of Cascia School and is woven throughout our academic program. We offer whole group and small group instruction with flexible placement for both enrichment and remediation. The following is a summary of our course offerings:

The academic program of St. Rita School meets the curriculum standards of the Diocese of Rockford and the Illinois State Board of Education.
St. Rita School provides a supportive faith community to help students in their spiritual development. All students have daily instruction in religion. Students also have the opportunity to participate in weekly liturgical celebrations, daily prayer, and religious activities.
Catholic students prepare for the sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist, and Confirmation.
